John was born in 1534 in Of Writtle, Essex, England.  John's father was William PYNCHON and his mother was Elizabeth STEVENS (STEPHEN).  His paternal grandfather was Nicholas PYNCHON and his paternal grandmother is Mrs Agnes PYNCHON; his maternal grandfather is Richard STEVENS. He had six brothers named Edward, William, William, Edward, Richard Everard and Henry.  He died at the age of 39 on November 29th, 1573 in Springfield, Hampden, England.  His burial was in Ch Of Writtle, Essex, England.
