Susannah was born on October 14th, 1627 in South Ouram, Halifax, York County, England and her baptism took place on October 14th, 1627 in South Ouram, Halifax, Yorkshire, England.  Susannah's father was Matthew MITCHELL and her mother was Sarah Or Susan BUTTERFIELD.  Her paternal grandparents are Thomas MITCHELL and Elizabeth CLAY; her maternal grandfather was Benjamin BUTTERFIELD and her maternal grandmother is Mrs Ann BUTTERFIELD. She had seven brothers and ten sisters, named David, Jonathan, Matthew, Jonathan, John, Nathan, Abraham, Dorothy, Abigail, David, Martha, Jonathan, Matthew, Hannah, Susanna, Elizabeth and Mary Sarah.  She died at the age of 83 on March 24th, 1711 in South Ouram, Halifax, York County, England.  Her burial was in 1711 in Old Southend Bg, Southampton, Long Island, Ny.
