Jincy Owen Jones

Jincy was born on November 7th, 1807 in Rowan, North Carolina, USA. Jincy's father was Rev Ebinezer Jones and her mother was Mary Wroten. Her paternal grandparents were Zacariah Jones and Ellen Smith; her maternal grandparents were William Wroten and Sabra Brown. She was an only child. She died at the age of 83 in June 1891 in Owensville, Gibson Co. Indiana, USA. Her burial was in Saulmon Cemetery, Owensville, Gibson Co. Indiana.

General Notes
- Came with her parents to Indiana Teritory in 1810. Became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1815. Married March 13, 1833.
  
  She had 10 children, 3 died young. Of the other 7, 6 were boys and one girl. Five boys served in the Union army and one in the Confederate. All returned home after the war.
  
  One brother was killed by Indians in 1812 at the age of 19, two were Methodist Episcopal Ministers, and two were phhysicians.
