Viola was born on March 11th, 1918.  Viola's father is Charles Holub and her mother is Francis Holub/Janak.  Her paternal grandparents were John F. Holub and Terezie Holub/Gallia. She has a brother and four sisters, named Edwin, Stella, Lydia, Vlasta and Olga.  She is the third oldest of the six children.
