Nona, known as Faye, was born on December 17th, 1911 in Gueydan, LA.  Faye's father was John Hennings Hardee and her mother was Annie Elizabeth Hardee/Smith.  Her paternal grandparents were James Marion Hardee and Mary Elizabeth Hardee/Sirmon. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Amos, Jewell, Dan, Marvin, Joseph, Murriel, Sis, Ruby, Lucy and Edna.  She died at the age of 24 on February 27th, 1936.
