Consuelo's father is Alberto Russián Wietzstruck and her mother was Concepción del Carmen “Conchita” Russián Cova.  Her paternal grandparents were Pedro  Russián Alcalá and Julia Wietzstruck; her maternal grandparents were José  Russián Alcalá and María Manuela Cova. She had three brothers named Haydee, José and Luis.
