Peep was born in January 1819.  Peep's father was Märt Meema=Volmer and his mother was Margareet Volmer.  His paternal grandparents were Volmer and Mai. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Peeter, Karl, Mai, Eva and Liis.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 14 in 1833.
