Tiiu's father was Henno and her mother was Pabbo. Her paternal grandparents were Tõnn and Mari; her maternal grandparents were Tints and Liis. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Rein, Peep, Ann and Katri. She has a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Jakob, Mai and Madli.
