Katri's father was Tõnn and her mother was Mari. Her paternal grandfather was Toots and her paternal grandmother is Liis; her maternal grandfather was Peeter and her maternal grandmother is Mai. She has a brother and three sisters, named Henno, Tiiu, Ann and Mai.
