Andres' father was Andre Täär and his mother is Eva. His paternal grandfather is Jaan and his paternal grandmother was Margret; his maternal grandfather was Ado and his maternal grandmother is Kai. He has a brother and two sisters, named Hindrik, Ann and Annika. He has three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Mihkel, Tõnis, Märt and Liis.
