Eugene Montgomery (Monty) Heiney

Eugene Montgomery, known as Monty, was born on June 14th, 1887. Monty's father was Thomas Newton Heiney and his mother was Sophronia M. Barrows. His paternal grandfather was Michael Heiney and his paternal grandmother is Lucetta (Heiney); his maternal grandfather was Bradley P. Barrows and his maternal grandmother is Mary Elizabeth Stephenson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Edward Ashley, Dallas Vane, Wallace Weston Bueal, Clarence, Daisy Ellen, Lucy Augusta and Sophrinia. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Wilber and Flossie. He died at the age of 90 on January 27th, 1978.
