János Asbóth

János was born on March 19th, 1844 in Pósfa Vas vm. and his baptism took place in Répceszentgyörgy.¹

János' father was János Asbóth and his mother was Julianna Nagy.  His paternal grandparents were Antal Asbóth and Mária Kamondi. He had three brothers and five sisters, named József, Anna, Antal, Katalin, Rozália, Teréz, Erzsébet and Rozália.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.
