Gizella was born on June 8th, 1886 in Alsószeleste.¹

Gizella's father was József Asbóth and his mother was Julianna Dénes.  His paternal grandparents were Ferenc Asbóth and Márta Nagy. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Lajos, József, József, Mária, Julianna, Rozália and Terézia.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 58 on July 12th, 1944 in Szombathely.²
