Antal's father was György Asbóth and his mother was Rozália Péntek. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Terézia, László, László, Anna, Ágnes, Anna and László.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named József, Antal, Antal, János, Sándor, Terézia and Anna.
