András Asbóth

András was born on November 17th, 1840 in Alsószelestye.¹ András' father was József Asbóth and his mother was Katalin Kovács. His paternal grandparents were Pál Asbóth and Éva Simon. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named János, Imre, József, János, István, János, János, Rozália and Erzsébet. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on February 26th, 1928 in Alsószeleste.¹
