Zsigmond's father was Pál Nagy and his mother was Margit Landor.  His paternal grandparents were György Nagy and Kata Pintér (büki). He had two brothers and three sisters, named István, Pál, Katalin, Erzsébet and Mária. He had a half-brother named Gábor.  He died at the age of 12 on June 25th, 1701 in Felsőbük.¹
