Mary (Polly) Walker

Mary, known as Polly, was born on July 17th, 1876 in Longford, Tasmania.¹   Polly's father is Reginald Walker and her mother is Martha Saltmarsh.  Her paternal grandparents are Abraham Walker and Jane Frances Roberts; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Saltmarsh and Sarah Hodgetts. She had two sisters named Frances and Marjorie.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 73 in 1949.  She was buried in Fawkner Memorial Park.^2 3
