This book was given to my Grandmother from her sister, Bertha Kepl (nee Schlievert) on her 27th birthday. All birth and death dates were hand written by my Grandmother, after her death the entries were written by my Father. This book is now in my possession.

    5Obituary, 6 Nov 1998. "RUMPEL - Monday, November 2, 1998 Pauline Barbara Rumpel, late of Edmonton, Alta., passed away at the age of 89 years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter Dorothy and son-in-law Bob Jones; her sister and long time companion Anne Birn, all of Edmonton; three sisters, Marie Ambrosi, Frances Hague and Hilda (Mac) McDonald, all of Regina; brother Walter Hufnagel of Melfort, Sask., numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Walter in 1964. Memorial service will be held Monday, November 9, 1998 at 12:00 noon in Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, with Rev. Emmett Morrissey presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palliative Care, Capital Care Norwood, 10410-111 Avenue, Edmonton, Alta. T5G 3A2. Arrangements in care of Park Memorial Ltd., Edmontobn, and Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services, Regina." Regina Leader Post - J. Marley.
