Hyrum Butterly was born on April 12th, 1853 in Tooele, Utah, USA.1   Hyrum Butterly's father was Absolem YATES and his mother was Elizabeth BUTTERLY.  His maternal grandfather was John BUTTERLY and his maternal grandmother is Millicent CHARLESWORTH. He had four brothers and a sister, named Jonathan, Joseph, Absolem, George and Zillah.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers named Abraham H, John H, Edward H and Charles H.  He died at the age of 69 on July 20th, 1922 in Logan, Cache, Utah, USA.2
