Ralph was born on February 27th, 1710 in Eckington, Derbyshire, UK.  Ralph's father was Ralph STATON and his mother was Etheldra DORE.  His paternal grandfather is Radolphus STATON. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas, John and Helen.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 87 on January 21st, 1798 in Eckington, Derbyshire, UK.
