David was born in 1906 in Garwolin, Poland.  David's father was Moses Trosterman and his mother was Lea kortzes.  His paternal grandparents were Yakov Trosterman and Shosh Mikovsky; his maternal grandparents were Shmolik kortzes and Sara. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Libo, Izak, Haya and Ester.  He died in Garwolin, Poland.
