Juan Bautista Rojas

Juan Bautista's father was Baltazar De Armas Ruiz and his mother is Juana Francisca Rojas. His paternal grandparents were Jose Antonio De Armas Cañas and Rafaela Ruiz Hidalgo; his maternal grandparents are Antonio Ramos Abencerraje and Antonia Rojas. He has two brothers and a sister, named Domingo, Ramon and Antonia. He has five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Pedro, Froilan, Eulalio, Antonio, Rafael Maria, Anita, Agueda and Amparo.

General Notes
- La familia vivió a orillas del río Unare, un poco más abajo del sitio de Angostura, donde tuvo una famosa cría de chivos, que al ver gente extraña atravesaban a nado el río. De allí nació el decir popular: "Sí, por lo manso que son los chivos de Juan Rojas!"
