Francisco de Paula was born on March 8th, 1900 in El Socorro, Estado Guarico.  Francisco de Paula's father was Adolfo Martinez and his mother is Carmen Velasquez. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Adolfo, Jose Nolberto, Manuel Antonio, Rosaura, Maria Salome and Carmen Luisa.  He died at the age of 69 on December 30th, 1969 in San Juan de Los Morros.
