Manuel was born on April 16th, 1900.  Manuel's father is Olivero Espinoza Prieto and his mother is Ramona Rojas Anato.  His paternal grandparents are Nepomuceno Espinoza Bustillos and María Simona Prieto; his maternal grandfather was Jose Camilo Rojas Fuentes de Cristal and his maternal grandmother is Rufa Josefa Anato Itriago. He had a brother and two sisters, named Medardo, Rufa Josefa and Maria Simona. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Octavio, Simon, Alejandro, Francisco, Nepomuceno, Olivero, Mercedes, Carmen Blasina and Francisca Josefa.  He died at the age of 79 on April 28th, 1979.
