Enrique Basilio was born on June 24th, 1768 in Azpeitia, Guipuzcoa, España.  Enrique Basilio's father was Joseph Juachin Ygnacio De Emparan y Sorrain Zarauz and his mother was Mariana Xabiera Juachina De Orbe y Larreategui Zarauz.  His paternal grandfather was Mariscal de Campo Francisco Joseph De Emparan Azcue and his paternal grandmother is Francisca Antonia Joaquina Josepha Feliciana Pretonila Zarauz y Velasco; his maternal grandparents were Francisco Antonio De Orbe y Larreategui and María Teresa De Zarauz Gamboa y Olaeta. He had eleven brothers and three sisters, named Francisco Joseph Domingo Ygnazio Xabier Andres Raimundo Antonio, Vicente Ygnacio Antonio Ramon, Agustin Ygnacio Antonio Melchor, Joseph Juaquin Andres Ygnacio, Ygnacio Sebastian, Manuel Antonio Ramon, Pedro Maria Antonio, Miguel Joseph Maria Francisco Geronimo Gregorio Ramon, Juan Baptista Ygnacio, Ygnacio Leandro Xauier Maria, Sebastian Raphael Ygnacio Manuel, Maria Josepha Thomasa Dorotea, Maria Antonia Luisa Ramona Manuela and Maria Ascension Ygnacia Ana Ramona Bizenta Bernardina.  He was the youngest of the fifteen children.  He died at the age of 60 on January 10th, 1829 in Aranda de Duero, Burgos, España.
