Julio Eugenio was born on November 15th, 1882 in Sabana de Uchire.  Julio Eugenio's father was Ricardo Alfonzo and his mother was Josefa Lucia Celestina Rojas Zerpa.  His paternal grandparents are Vicente Feliz Sarria and Vicenta Alfonzo; his maternal grandparents were Candido Rojas and Lucia Zerpa. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ricardo, Jesus Maria, Lucia Victoria, Maria Teresa, Mercedes Corina and Ana Vicenta. He had a half-sister named Dolores.  He died at the age of 64 on December 18th, 1946 in Caracas.
