Comtesse De Hainault was born in 1311 in Le Quesnoy, Nord, France.1   Comtesse De Hainault's father was William d'Avesnes and her mother was Jeanne De Valois. She had two sisters named Phillipa Comtesse and Johanna Countess Of.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 45 on March 23rd, 1356 in Le Quesnoy, Nord, France.1
