John Findley

John was born before February 16th, 1651 in Inchervie, Fife, Scotland.¹ John's father was James Findley and his mother was Margaret McKay. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Finley and Agnes Goodlate; his maternal grandfather is John Mckay. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William and Agnes. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in 1751.
