Phillippa was born about 1214 in Aumale, Seine-Maritime, France.1   Phillippa's father was Simon II Comte De Dammartin and her mother was Marie (Jeanne) De Ponthieu Montreuil. She had a brother and three sisters, named Renier, Agathe, Marie and Jeanne. She had a half-sister named Jeanne.  She died in Zütphen, Gelderland, Netherlands.1
