Egeline De Courtenay

Egeline was born about 1282 in Okehampton, Devonshire, England.¹ Egeline's father was Hugh De Courtenay and her mother was Eleanor Le Despencer. Her paternal grandfather was John De Courtenay; her maternal grandparents were Hugh II Le Despencer and Ellen Basset. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh, Isabel and Eleanor. She died about October 10th, 1335 in Middleton, Norfolk, England.¹
