Edna Thornton

Edna was born in December 1906 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. Edna's father was Thomas Thornton and her mother was Edith Coulton. Her paternal grandparents were John Thornton and Mary Mitchell; her maternal grandparents were Leach Coulton and Margaret Ann Lund. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Arthur, Willie H, Annie E, Alice and Frank. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
