Sylvester Benjamin Petyt

Sylvester Benjamin was born in 1850 in Hazlewood, Yorkshire, England. Sylvester Benjamin's father was Thomas Petyt and his mother was Margaret Malham. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pettyt and Ann Holmes. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Thomas, Joseph, George, Mary, Margaret and Jane Esther.
