Richard Petty

Richard was born in 1640 in Cowthorpe, Yorkshire, England. Richard's father was Henry Petty and his mother was Jennet Steele. His paternal grandparents were Henry Petty and Barbara Clough. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Gulielmus, Susanna and Oliva. He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
