Laura Newiss

Laura was born in 1879 in Armley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Laura's father was Thomas Newiss and her mother was Ann (Newiss). Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Newis and Leah (Newis). She had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Hellie, Ethel and Emily. She was the oldest of the five children.
