Margaret Benson

Margaret was born in 1844 in Aldfield, Ripon, Yorkshire, England.¹ Margaret's father was Arthur Benson and her mother was Ann Newiss. Her maternal grandparents were James Newis and (Unknown) (Newis). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Newis, Arthur, Ann N and Mary. She was the second oldest of the five children.
