Emma Lee (Beene) Rogers 
Emma Lee was born on February 19th, 1901 in Freestone County, Texas. Emma Lee's father was William Thomas Beene and her mother was Mamie Allen Beene. Her paternal grandfather was Reuben Warren Beene and her paternal grandmother is Mary Elvira Lindsey. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Ovin, Thomas, Elmer , Ernest, Lester, Ruth, Ruby, IN D. and Grace. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 in January 1979.-
