Margaret Beckwith (Mary)

Margaret was born about 1815 in Thorpe, Co. Durham.¹

Margaret's father was Cuthbert Beckwith and her mother was Jane Wanless. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Emmerson, John, William, Joseph, Thomas, Cuthbert, Esther, Elizabeth and Hannah. She was the oldest of the ten known children.
