I grew up on farms near Nora Springs and Rudd, considering Rudd to be my home town and have a brother and family still living near Rudd and many cousins in Rudd, Nora Springs, Floyd, Charles City, etc. All of my Nauman cousins would have Gerholdt ancestry but I really don't know that side of the family that well. I am a seventh generation Iowan (through lines other than Gerholdt) and now live near Des Moines and work in Des Moines.
