Louise's father was Jacob Sprecher and her mother was Louisa Janke (Sprecher). Her paternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Gottfried, Ferdinand, Christoph, Jacob, Samuel, Johann, Benjamin, Julianna, Justina and Katharina. She was the nineth oldest of the eleven children.
