Silas Jones

Silas was born in 1820 in Georgia. Silas' father was Joseph Jones and his mother was Jane Nelson (Jones). His paternal grandparents were Nathan Jones and Martha P Langston (Jones); his maternal grandparents were Charles Nelson and Lydia Hand (Nelson). He had three brothers and two sisters, named Irvin, Louis, Marlein, Adarine and Bethenie. He was the second oldest of the six children.
