Thomas Larkin (Knockskehan, Lecarrow) St. John's Coy. in the 4th Battalion South Roscommon. He was with his Company when O'Brien's residence was burned down - an action deemed necessary because the house was thought to be soon taken over by the British. He participated in the destruction of Ballybay Bridge. During the Truce he became a member of a special service unit.
