Lídia was born on November 24th, 1873 in Aranyos and her christening took place there on November 27th, 1873 conducted by minister Sólyom János.1   Her godfather was Süti János and her godmother was Vajda Eszter.  Lídia's father was József Székely and her mother was Erzsébet Balázs.  Her paternal grandparents were Székely and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were András Balázs and Erzsébet Balázs. She had two brothers and four sisters, named András, András, Eszter, Rebeka, Eszter and Erzsébet.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died due to a medical problem, tüdőgümőkor, at the age of 25 on April 20th, 1899 in Aranyos.2
