'Réti Mihály 18400806 SZAK' Picture Notes

Mihály was born on August 6th, 1840 in Aranyos and his christening took place there on August 9th, 1840 conducted by minister Sólyom János.¹   His godfather was Kohányi Mihály and his godmother was Faragó Susánna.  Mihály's father was István Réti and his mother was Zsuzsanna Csáti (Csáthi - Csátszi).  His paternal grandparents were Réti and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Csáthy and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named József, Sámuel, István and Eszter.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
