Veronika Dorkó

Veronika was born on March 8th, 1884 in Bekölce and her christening took place there on March 9th, 1884 conducted by priest Ohács Titusz.¹   Her godfather was Holló Gergely and her godmother was Dorkó Veronika.  Veronika's father was Bálint Dorkó (Szurdok) and her mother was Mária Mikó.  Her paternal grandparents were Bertalan Albert Dorkó (Szurdok) and Borbála Borcsa Sike; her maternal grandparents were Mikó and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and three sisters, named József, Lajos, János, József, József, Mária, Róza and Mária (Maris).  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
