József Dorkó

'Dorkó József 18890719 SZAK' Picture Notes

József was born on July 19th, 1889 in Bekölce 39 and his christening took place on July 20th, 1889 in Bekölce conducted by priest Zsitnyánszky Adolf.¹   His godfather was Holló Gergely and his godmother was Dorkó Veronika.  József's father was Bálint Dorkó (Szurdok) and his mother was Mária Mikó.  His paternal grandparents were Bertalan Albert Dorkó (Szurdok) and Borbála Borcsa Sike; his maternal grandparents were Mikó and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named József, Lajos, János, József, Mária, Róza, Veronika and Mária (Maris).  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died as an infant at 8 months old on March 20th, 1890 in Bekölce 39.¹
