János Dorkó

'Dorkó János 18861024 SZAK' Picture Notes

János was born on October 24th, 1886 in Bekölce 39 and his christening took place on October 24th, 0188 in Bekölce conducted by Reverend Bodó Károly.¹   His godfather was Holló Gergely and his godmother was Dorkó Veronika.  János' father was Bálint Dorkó (Szurdok) and his mother was Mária Mikó.  His paternal grandparents were Bertalan Albert Dorkó (Szurdok) and Borbála Borcsa Sike; his maternal grandparents were Mikó and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named József, Lajos, József, József, Mária, Róza, Veronika and Mária (Maris).  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 8 on May 3rd, 1895 in Bekölce 39.¹
