General Notes
Thirdly he married, on 16 June 1269 at Kaiserslautern, Beatrice of Falkenburg, daughter of Dietrich I, Count of Falkenburg. They had no issue.[9] She was about sixteen years of age at the time of the marriage, and was said to be one of the most beautiful women of her time.[citation needed] Beatrice died 17 October 1277, and was buried before the high altar at the Church of the Grey Friars in Oxford.[10
