Max Mordechai Katz 
Max was born in 1904. Max's father was Chlone Katz and his mother was Rochel. His paternal grandfather was Joseph Katz and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named Mendel and Mina. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 88 in 1992.General Notes
Immigrate to South Afirca on 9 August 1925 (Garth Castle Steamer)after 2 Days In the Poor Jewish Shelter in London (16-18 July 1925). In 1927 Passenger arrival notes was written: "From Anisisok. Going to Uncle Say katz (Shaya) Address in SA 10 Newmarket St Town in SA Cape Town" .
