    The first is more likely as William's first son was John, and he had a Hannah (not Ann). Weaverham is 11 miles E of Thornham-le-Moors where William and Sarah lived. Witton-cum-Twambrooks is further E of Northwich.

He died at the age of 60 in January 1848 in Plemonstall.  His burial was on January 20th, 1848 in Plemonstall.^4 4
