  Meadowcroft Heaton was probably the son of John Heaton and Margaret Meadowcroft - TBC.  In 1731, Elizabeth Heaton wife of Meadowcroft Heaton, Schoolmaster, was buried at Ringley with most of the other family.  Meadowcroft Heaton Yeoman of Harwood, was buried at Ringley in 1760.
He died at the age of 82 in March 1842 in Little Lever.  He was buried on March 30th, 1842 at St. Saviour (Ringley).^3 4
